More than 200,000 Ford pickups are being recalled because of leaky and improperly secured fuel tanks while the vehicle is being driven.

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that recalled F-150 trucks are from the 2023-2027 model years.

The agency said a detached tank can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash, while a fuel leak can cause an engine stall or increase the risk of a fire.

Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel tank straps, as necessary, free of charge.

Check the NHTSA recall center to see if your vehicle is affected.
